Summer 2009 Nature Club

Explore the forest, trails and river during the warm summer months of July and August. Topics include trees, plants, insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians, stream creatures and mammals. Nature club activities will include hands-on investigations and crafts centered on nature discovery. Classes are limited to 25 students, so sign up early.

Robo Camp 2009

Put your brain to work on 'bot.

Campers working in teams of two will learn how to build LEGO NXT robots. Robot activities are designed to teach programming behaviors, systems control, sensors, feedback and more. Campers will work through projects such as Automated Mining, Patrol Robot and Tree Measurer. This summer opportunity is for students entering grades 5-8.

Summer college programs for students

Reach Out for College Credit

Can't wait for college and classes that will lead you toward your dream career? Reach Out summer courses are one-credit, college-level classes designed specifically for students exiting grades 6–12. These one- and two-week classes provide intensive, hands-on learning in seminar-like settings.
