PRO-SOLVE is a classroom based problem solving program that serves two purposes: - To increase student problem solving skills through work with challenging assignments.
- To provide teachers with a professional development experience as they carry out the program with their students.

They were put together by teachers from St. Clair County RESA middle and high schools for others to use as they wish. These materials are not a polished set. They are based upon the teachers' opinion of the content of the HSCE to which they are coded. The teachers who prepared these items did not include answers. They may be helpful to you as you study your school's MEAP results. You will find that they answer questions and offer ideas as to how and why students selected answers to MEAP items. Please remember that Fall 2005 MEAP testing assessed students on the PREVIOUS year's GLCE's (EX: Grade 4 MEAP assessed students on Grade 3 GLCE's).
