The Education Technology Department regularly produces two television programs and one radio program as well as many special educational projects.

Dateline: Schools is a monthly school news television  program for cable TV that highlights
St. Clair County public schools.

 


Dateline Schools Radio Logo

Dateline: Schools Radio , a daily radio segment aired on WPHM-1380AM, focuses on a different school program or issue every week.

 

 

Culinary Confessions Logo

Culinary Confessions , now in its fifth season, is a cooking show featuring students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at St. Clair TEC. Lead by instructor Mike Szarek students plan, write, cook and "star" in their own television program.

 


Video Special Projects

The Education Technology Department also produces a variety of educational video productions.

 

 

Video productions

The RESA's Education Technology Department offers a variety of video production services including scripting, videotaping, editing, CD and DVD authoring, and dubbing in the RESA’s in-house video production studio. The department is also available to assist schools with their video projects. 

 

Among recent RESA video productions are an explanatory school funding video distributed statewide, promotional videos for the Technical Education Center and the Pine River Nature Center, and many training videos.
