Help student athletes stay in the Games

As you may have read in last month's newsletter, some of our students recently returned from the Special Olympics Winter Games, where they earned a number of medals. The experience is always a great one for students and staff alike, and we hope to remain involved in this wonderful program for years to come. Taking part in the games allows students to develop their athletic skills. It also helps to foster courage, independence and friendship.

Attendance in the Special Olympics is self-funded, and we have to rely on fundraisers and donations to ensure our continued participation. We are now raising money for the Summer Games in Mt. Pleasant in June. A list of current fundraisers can be found on the next page. We hope you will consider coming to one of these events or making a donation toward our cause.

If you would like more information on our Special Olympics program, you can contact Jen Egan at (810) 455-4439. As always, we thank you for your support.
