Employer-Based Programs

Employer-based students do not attend their classes at TEC. They report to an assigned location to receive training directly from personnel at the facility. Students are considered trainees and do not receive pay for their experience. A TEC coordinator makes regular visits to the sites. Students follow a pre-established curriculum, daily attendance is recorded and letter grades are issued for performance.

Please Note: Students must provide their own transportation. Students must return to TEC one day a month to meet with the coordinator. All employer-based students must complete a pre-enrollment packet, and a parent orientation meeting is required.
