Please call both schools

When your child does not attend school it is important to call both the ATA and his or her home high school. The home high schools do not call us to transfer attendance messages. We need to hear from a parent or guardian about a student's absence within 24 hours of the absence to excuse it.

Call Mrs. Treaster in the front office at (810) 364-3449. You can also call after hours and leave a message on our voicemail system. 

Parent Connect  

Parents and guardians no longer have to wait for progress reports or report cards to find out how their children are doing. Parent Connect, a web-based program, is now available for ATA students. It allows parents and guardians to check online to see what assignments their children have completed or not, the grades on those assignments, and attendance records that are updated daily.

The information learned from visiting the Parent Connect site can be used to positively reinforce students who are getting their work done, getting good grades, and showing improvement. It can also be used to help parents and guardians learn about missing assignments or low scores while there is still ample time to complete them or improve the score. 

To gain access, you must be given a Parent Connect PIN and password by completing a form and submitting it to the ATA. We will then activate your account and send the information needed to begin taking advantage of the program.
