County education

St. Clair County has seven K-12 public schools districts - Algonac, Capac, East China, Marysville, Memphis, Port Huron and Yale - which collectively educate nearly 30,000 students each year. The county Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) provides important support services to those districts, ranging from career and technical education programs to a variety of business and administrative services.

In addition, the RESA has chartered 10 public school academies which provide alternative education and vocational opportunities.

The county also has an independent public school academy and a number of private and parochial schools.
