Woodland Developmental Center
Woodland is a specialized school serving children who live in the seven St. Clair County public school districts. Woodland works with young people who are moderately cognitively impaired, severely cognitively impaired and severely multiply impaired. It also can serve students with other disabilities, such as autism, depending upon their needs.
To be eligible for special education services, a student must have a disability as determined by a multidisciplinary evaluation team. After that evaluation, an individualized educational planning team recommends placement.
